How to Care for Your Clothes During Buea's Rainy Season
Buea's long rainy season brings constant humidity, and that is the enemy of clean clothes. Damp clothes that never fully dry start to smell, and in bad cases they grow mould. The trick is proper drying, not just washing.
At home, dry clothes in a well-ventilated room and avoid leaving damp laundry piled up overnight. Iron thicker items to help drive out the last moisture. For bedding and towels, the humidity makes full drying very hard without the right machines.
This is where a laundry service helps most in the rainy season. We have the machines and space to fully dry duvets, blankets, towels and everyday clothes, so they come back genuinely dry and fresh, not just washed. That prevents the musty smell and protects your fabrics.
If your clothes or bedding already smell damp, bring them in and we will refresh them. Pickup and delivery (1,000 FCFA each way) means you do not even have to go out in the rain.
